The terms and conditions contained in this Legal Notice regulate the use of the website [www.vcstraducciones.com] by those users who access it (the “User”) and whose owner (“VCS Traducciones”) is Victoria Cano Sánchez, with DNI 48670198J and e-mail address: victoria@vcstraducciones.com

Some activities of the website are also governed by the particular conditions set out in paragraph 2, that, where appropriate, complete the present General Conditions of Use of the Website.

VCS Translations is not responsible for any possible security errors that may occur due to the use of unaltered browser versions, or the consequences that may result from the browser malfunction, either by improper configuration, presence of computer viruses or any other cause unrelated to VCS Traducciones.

These general conditions shall be governed by Spanish law.

2. RECRUITMENT AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS

a) Quote

The request for any order is subject to the prior acceptance of the quote by the customer. For the execution of the quote, the client must provide all the necessary information that in each case is required, such as source language, target language, type of document, number of additional copies, etc.).
Unless otherwise specified, the quote excludes applicable taxes.

b) Commission

VCS Traducciones will perform the stipulated service and will invoice it according to the price stipulated in the quote.
All orders must be confirmed by the customer. For the start of the proyect order, the customer must pay 50% of the final price in advance, paying the resulting amount at the end of the order, unless specific payment conditions are agreed for the order.
The deadline specified in the budget for the execution of the order is approximate, counting from the date of payment.

c) Translation

The Customer declares and guarantees that the document object of translation (the “Document”) is her property or has the right to use or transmit it; and that the translation object of the order, as well as any further use thereof does not violate any intellectual or industrial property rights, confidentiality agreements or other rights of third parties.

Translation includes translation service and delivery of the order by the means agreed in the quote. In the case of receiving the Document in non-editable format, the order will be delivered in a format as close as possible to that of the Document.
The order will be considered completed once the translation has been delivered in the agreed format.

d) Responsibility

VCS Traducciones will offer the service within agreed deadlines and based on standard quality levels, according to the uses and practices of the profession, translating/revising special terms according to their conventional meaning. It will be up to the client to verify the technical consistency of the Document, in which case, VCS Traducciones will proceed to its correction.

The acceptance of the Order entails the acceptance by the Customer of the limitation of the liability of VCS Traducciones to the direct damages caused to the Customer for a total economic amount, at most, of the amount of the order, excluding indirect damages suffered by the customer.

e) Intellectual property

VCS Traducciones will exclusively assign to the customer all intellectual property rights arising from the translation, for the maximum time allowed and for the global scope, provided they are not subject to more restrictive conditions as a result of the intellectual property rights of the Document to be translated, once the customer pays the full price of the order.

f) Confidentiality

VCS Traducciones undertakes to respect the confidentiality of the information provided in connection with the translation, both before and during, as well as after the performance of its provision. The Document will be returned, or if applicable, it will be returned to the Customer upon request.
